Tessa is just like Mommy when it comes to a lot of things. She even hides when she needs to poop. Apparently I used to do the same thing when I was little. Hopefully that means she will be easy to potty train.

Up and Down
Tessa was so excited to attend Gymboree today! She missed a week from being sick. She had fun learning the opposites: up and down. She loved throwing the ball down the tunnel. She was super excited for the game tap-tap-freeze. And parachute I’m proud of how well she […]
See MoreLacing Beads
After Gymboree Tessa and I stopped by Toys R Us to find her some lacing beads. I’m trying to do more structured activities with her and I thought lacing beads would be something fun. Tessa can’t completely lace the beads independently yet but she understands the concept. She knows the string goes in the hole […]
See MoreLetters
Tessa is learning so much these days that I decided to start teaching her the alphabet. I figured if she learned all the Disney princesses she could learn letters. We took a trip to Lakeshore Learning and bought large magnetic upper and lower case letters. I found a website that groups the letters so you […]
See MoreRoseola
Last week on Thursday night Tessa had a fever. She was miserable all night but woke up feeling better. I figured it was teething and we moved on. Friday night in Havasu she had a fever again and wouldn’t sleep all night! It was terrible I felt so bad for her. Nothing could comfort her. […]
See MoreWake surfing and tubing
Even though Tessa wasn’t feeling well (we didn’t know at the time she had roseola) she had a blast in Havasu this weekend. She rode the wake surf with Auntie Madi for the first time and even stood on the board! We are so proud! She wasn’t scared at all. Then she went tubing with […]
See MoreDance moves
Tessa pays close attention to what movements in kids are making in the Barney movies that she watches. She constantly asks for Barney songs on Pandora and today she was doing the movements with the songs! It was so cute. She is making a tree and showing the grass growing around. And in the second […]
See MoreWater baby
Aunt Penny brought home Tessa a new baby from her Colorado trip. Her and Gigi went to go help Paige move into her dorm room. It is a water baby like we had when we were growing up. We aren’t putting water in it now because it will be too heavy for Tessa to hold […]
See MoreShopping Cart
Tessa loves to play with her shopping cart. She piles it up with food, sometimes puts in her baby, and pulls/pushes it all around the house. James took this video while I was at work today.
